Great book, well written. I absolutely love the way/style this is written in. It's not the way you expect. The same sort of language as Pride and Prejudice. Alaister is amazing, such a gorgeous male lead. It did take me a while to get into the story, but once I got past the beginning part of the story (those who know, after she joined the ship), I really started enjoying the story, and couldn't put the book down.
I loved the secondary story. It's nice to have that in an erotica book. I'm so used to reading BDSM books with just the main storyline, that it was refreshing to find one that was written under the usual format of main storyline, background storyline. Main characters, and background characters. Each and every character had their very own, strong personality, that stood out and held up against everyone else.
I really loved this book, and the author is amazing (as always).

During the scene in which Michael visits Hester and she has guests calling, Michael notes that the Marchioness of is present. Isabel, Lady Grayson's story is told in The Stranger I Married.
When Michael and Regmont agree to their pugilist match, they are drinking with other gentlemen: The Earl of Westfield, who first appeared in Pride and Pleasure (he is Jasper's close friend); Lord Spencer Faulkner, who appeared in The Stranger I Married (he is Gray's brother); Lord Ridgely, who was mentioned in Bad Boys Ahoy!; Lord Hammond, who appeared in The Stranger I Married (he hosts the house party Gray and Isabel attend); and Lord Trenton, who appeared in The Stranger I Married (he is Isabel's brother).
Westfield offers some boxing advice to Michael just before his bout with Regmont. Westfield's grandparents, Marcus and Elizabeth, have their story told in Ask For It. As mentioned above, Westfield himself first appeared in Pride and Pleasure.

yaaaay. This is Beautiful Disaster, from Travis' point of view. It's enlightening, and amazing, to be able to see his anger, rage and love. Oh he loves her so much, from the second he lays eyes on her. He'd do anything for her, and does, constantly. TBH, I didn't realise until this book, how whiny Abby had been in the first book lol. Now I see what men mean, yep, women can be Whiny nags, at least, that's how they see us! Coz that's how she came across I. His book, but not from her point of view. From different perspectives, everything is different.
